Friday is a full day of events starting with the Run with Alan Webb at 8:00 am, the Reston Holiday Parade at 11:00 am, visits with Santa from 12:30 pm until 4:30 pm, the annual Tree Lighting and Sing Along at 6:00 pm, horse-drawn carriage rides through the evening, and ice skating all day. Holidays are Here at Reston Town Center all through December, with performances of music and dance, horse-drawn carriage rides noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, December 5, 12, and 19, and ice skating every day.
