Study Predict Number of Reston Homes to Triple

A forecast by George Mason University Center for Regional Analysis is predicting the number of homes in Reston, will more than triple by 2050. The study also predicts significant job growth in Reston.  The growth will be fueled by the extension of Metro service from Falls Church through Tyson’s Corner, to Reston, Herndon, Dulles Airport and ultimately Ashburn, Virginia.  Phase one of the project, if completed on schedule, will extend service to Wiehle Avenue in Reston in 2013.
