Reston Town Center

Reston Town Center is conveniently located just off the Dulles Toll road, just minutes from Dulles Airport and in close proximity to the many technology and government contractor businesses on the Dulles Technology Corridor. Reston Town Center includes shopping, restaurants, a luxury hotel, spas, a Starbucks, Panera Bread, and outdoor ice skating during the winter month. During the summer many events are held at the Center including concerts and an art festival.

Reston Storefront Museum of Suburban History

The Reston Storefront Museum of Suburban History is located at Lake Anne Village Center at 1639 Washington Plaza (next to the old pharmacy). The museum is open Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5:00; and from 10:00 to 5:00 on the weekends. The museum is also open Thursday evenings at 7:30 during the summer. Children’s workshops take place (weather permitting) 10:00 – noon on Saturday.

Reston Petting Zoo

The Reston Zoo is located at 1228 Hunter Mill Road. Animals at the zoo include zebras, antelope, bison ostrich, camels, reptiles, alligators, and waterfowl. Children can pet and feed the animals. Lamb bottles are also available for feeding the lambs. A wagon ride is included in admission price.

Washington DC

Visit our nation’s capital! Washington DC is just 45 minutes from Reston by car. You can also get downtown by Metro rail – one of the most effiecient, reliable, and clearn rail systems in the United States. Take “Metro” from Falls Church. You can get there in about 20 minutes by car or bus.

Washington Dulles International Airport

Dulles International Airport is a major international and domestic air travel hub located just 10 minutes by car to Reston. Grab a taxi and be in one of Reston’s hotels in no time at all!

Wolf Trap

Wolf Trap offers a wide variety of performances including pop, country, folk, and blues to orchestra, dance, theater, and opera, as well as innovative performance art and multimedia presentations. Wolf Trap sits on 100 acres of beautiful land. The theatre at Wolf Trap holds 6,800 including both indoor and outdoor seating. The Filene Center season usually runs from the end of May to the beginning of September with an average of 90 performances each year.

Reston National Golf Course

Reston National Golf Course is open to the public. It is a great place to do business or take a break from your business meeting or conference. Reston National features the only Nike Golf Learning Center in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The course is conveniently located on Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston, just off the Toll Road and a few minutes from Reston Town Center.

Lake Anne Village Center

Lake Anne Village Center is an internationally recognized modern community. The Village Center, which is located right on Lake Anne includes restaurants, and shopping, and services. The Center includes gift shops; an art gallery, a used bookshop, The Reston Museum, and a barber shop. Banking, dry cleaning and real estate services are also available. The Lake Anne Village Center is a great place to just relax and grab a bite to eat. Have a cappuccino or a cup of tea at the coffeehouse. In the summer, concerts are held on Thursday evenings, paddle boats are available for rental, and a farmers market takes place on Saturday mornings during May to November. For those who want to stay connected, Lake Anne Village offers free Wi-Fi!
